This week students of Ryazan State Medical University joined the All‑Russian dictation dedicated to the Day of Languages of the Peoples of Russia.
A truly international team of participants consisting of students from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Lebanon, South Ossetia, and Egypt wrote in Russian a text made up of fragments from Rasul Gamzatov’s works.
The text of the dictation was translated from Avar into Russian, as well as into 21 languages of the peoples of Russia: from Tatar to Veps, Meadow Mari, Moksha, and Erzya.
By the way, there were no grades given for the dictation! It was just an expression of love for the native language!
