Rector Praised RSMU Volunteers

Coronavirus has become a serious problem for people all over the world. Nowadays volunteering helps one's community and, in a way, volunteers benefit as well.

RSMU students feel concern for this burning issue. This spring 17 of them volunteered at the City Сall-Сenter to provide psychological support and information assistance to the citizens of Ryazan. The students gave special priority to elderly people who were at risk of the spread of COVID-19.

Rector Roman Kalinin expressed profound gratitude and awarded students with diplomas of recognition for active civic stance and great personal contribution to preventing the spread of the new coronavirus infection in the regions.

It should be mentioned that Roman Kalinin encouraged students not to disregard the importance of wearing masks in public places and to observe all the recommendations of Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
