RSMU HAS OPEN HOUSE

On November 30 Ryazan State Medical University had the open house.

This time RSMU faculties and departments were presented in a new interactive way: the visitors did chemical tests on sausages to detect their good or poor quality, checked the level of their cellphones` eradiation, tried to work on a simulator for laparoscopic operations or to remove a man-simulator`s tooth and were engaged in many other activities.  Would-be-school-graduates and their parents had a chance to get acquainted with RSMU facilities and talk to RSMU current students.

RSMU International Department took part in such an event for the first time. The reason for that was the growing interest of students in international exchange programs offered by the University.

At the stand of the International Department the visitors were welcomed by its specialists and students who had already travelled abroad to practice their medical skills at German, French, Croatian, Czech, Brazilian and other hospitals. The most active and curious pupils tried their hand in playing a geographical quiz.

“We hope that our taking part in RSMU open house event will make University students think about numerous advantages of taking their practice abroad and will help us increase the number of exchange students in the future”, - Mariya Gordova, the Vice-Rector for Extra-Curricular Activities and International Issues, said.
